Nero Recode 2

I need help. I am trying to copy a dvd and I am using ANY DVD 3.2.1.1 and I have downloaded the newest aspi driver 4.7.1 I think it was. When I go to copy in the preview screen you can see the movie being compiled but when I get to like 60% it stops and gives me an error message that says compiling volume failed and also says internal error. I am told that it uses dvd shrink on the compiling of the volume. I have not been able to get dvd shrink to work either. Anybody have any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks.

Does this happen with all DVDs you try to back up or just this one? I use the exact setup and it work perfectly. Try to rip the dvd with smart ripper or any of the other freeware rippers out there. Look in the tools section. Something in your set up is not right or the DVD itself is at fault and just can't be ripped. It may play well but it just ca not be ripped.

Do you do the full analysis or do you just back up the files if they are shrunk enough. After I wrote the post I ran dvd shrink in the full ananlysis mode and it seems to work fine. When I ran dvd shrink after the brief analysis it showed it was like 4464 meg. Should fit. But I guess it does work. Have not tried nero yet on the the full analysis. Will see what happens.

I did run nero recode and ran the full analysis and I got the same error message. But at least I got dvd shrink to work so will use that for now. Thanks for the help.

Ok now I am perplexed. I got an email from nero telling to remove all of there software with nero cleanup. I removed all the software and reinstalled with there new updates. Now when I go to copy a dvd with there recode I can not check mark full analysis. Have any ideas? When I run dvd shrink it works great on full analysis. Would love to get Nero Recode to work. Need help. LOL

I can still not checkmark the Nero Recode full analysis. Have ideas? I can get the full analysis to work on dvd shrink but I cant get it to work in Nero. Would love to try this and see how good it is.

full analysis will not be activated unless the movie title your are trying to backup is lasger than DVD5
