Is the average bitrate given in Recodes info panel accurate? I checked a Sopranos Season 1 disk and it showed a 3900 average bitrate which is low. The qaulity of the original DVD certainly looks sub-standard. The disk conatains about 3 hours and 20 minutes of video which would indicate thar average bitrate would have been lowered to fit it on the DVD.
