After successfully converting and burning numerous videos I've come across one with a peculiar problem. When played on my standalone player the picture is squeezed into the upper left corner taking up about a quarter of the screen. I looked through the FACs and tried searching the forums and didn't find anything on this.
Anyone know how to fix this?

What encoder are you using?
If tmpgenc try changing your arrange method, a good way to find out what is causing it is to make a bunch of small mpegs all with differnt options and see which one does do it and doesnt do it. -
Also check resolutions to see if they are standard spec, had this prob when my resolution were not standard specs.

Sorry, I should have expanded on that. I'm using Tmpgenc and have tried all the arrange methods. The orginal res is 544 X 304. Any clues?

no what's your ENCODING res that you are doing..as long as you have "full screen (keep aspect ratio)" you should be fine regardless...check you output res, make sure its standard spec works first b4 you try deviateing from it.

Kdiddy, yep that was it. I forgot I was trying to keep the original res intact. I did use the "full screen (keep aspect ratio) arrange method, but that didn't help. I set the output res to standard and it worked. Thanks for the help.
