Need a good capture program

Ive tried VirtualVCR and Virtualdub but they both give me errors since my computer has been upgraded. it was fine before but VirtualVCr drives me into a critical blue screen and reboot while Virtualdub seems to tell me that it has encountered errors in one of its routines... Ive got also Pinnacle Studio 8 and its AM capture Tool but it doesnt seem to want to capture in an another directory than my documents (i tried to change and it freezes)... and ive got only like 15Go available in this Drive.
Any other good software or solution, please

Have you tried intervideo windvd recorder had good results with this program and is very easy to use there is a guide for it on this site

You should be able to change directory. Are you sure that it "freezes" ? When you change dir, PS will check speed of the disk first and this take some time.
