Hi,
why do different tools show different resolutions for the same MPG?
created with NERO Vison Express in 480x576
identified as 480x576 by WinSubMux
properties of WMP 768x576
Why does MaestroSBT force 720x576 if you select "480x576(MPEG-2-PAL/SECAM SVCD)"?
Who would verify the correct result of my muxing?
Thanks for your answers..
Matthias

Your DVD-player application should show the real resolution for an MPEG file, even if it's patched. But If you put a patched file in DVDPatcher or a DVD author, it'll show the patched resolution.

WMP would show 768x576 if your MPEG2 codec, or WMP itself rescaled it to the proper 4:3 aspect ratio - SVCD is 5:6, and looks totally out of proportion when played on a computer monitor normally. Then again, the file itself is definately not that resolution...
