I would just like to know if taking the audio cables from a running PS2, and plugging them into the front inputs on a SB Audigy 2 Platinum would allow me to record game music? Basically I know this will work, but I was just wondering if anybody else has tried this, and/or if it won't record right because of audio encryption.![]()

Well a couple of months ago my friend recorded from the ps2 to his mini-disc with an optical cable, so it should work on your soundcard.

agreed..
whatever encryption the audio files might have on them has to be decrypted into a recognizable data stream before leaving the PS2..otherwise no receiver would be able to play it..
...well...except a SONY receiver I'm sure...
now that i think about it...sony wasn't being very sony-like when they made that moveThey have since learned with the SACD's and chewing gum memory sticks
