Hello major,

data of video *.mpv displayed in ProjectX:
-> video basics: 720*576 @ 25fps @ 0.7031 (16:9) @ 1490800bps, vbvBuffer 91
result after trying to create dvd image:

*.mpg created ok, correct view in Quicktime as 16:9 (in Finder also in QT size is 720x404 - ??) - but no dvd image or folder structure.
Sizzle creates working DVD - but I want to use ffmpegX, of course
dvdauthor problem? - thanks, Martin59

Major,
thanks for fast answering.
In the meantime I succeeded.
1. in ProjectX I initially let the option "DAR" 0.7031 (16:9) unchecked (because I did not need it in my ol' windows days with the ProjectX/IfoEdit combo) - and got a vertically stretched picture, no 16:9 pan&scan
(The true problem was: the first 2 GOPs I choosed to demux were still 4:3, so the whole film was interpreted as 4:3 although it changed just on the 3rd GOP to 16:9 - so no need to check that box if I started with the first 16:9 GOP)
2. after checking the option, I did a mistake in renaming the files (let a space in file name). see this line:
INFO: [mplex] File /Filme/demux/Frau 16_9.mpv looks like an MPEG Video stream.
corrected that: authoring with ffmpegX runs smoothly, creates perfect DVD folders&image
3. so no need to use the "author" recommendation (btw which only works on valid file names, too).
Lots of thanks - works excellent now.

BTW which file names are valid? no spaces- ok; ol' DOS rules 8.3? UNIX newbie ...
