Hi,
I bought several 10 packs of these DVD+R discs at the Office Depo, and due to the RW in large logo on every jewel case, and on each disc, I thought they were Re-Writables.
So I burned a bunch of test drafts of a certain video I was editing (like 24 copies), and then after I made my perfect editing master I went to erase these discs, and the program tells me they are not eraseable. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
oK, I like burned 24 coasters without knowing it. A lesson learned.
But why the hell do they say RW in fairly large letters on the package?
God I blew it. At least they were on sale.
Jeff
PS I also have some Fujis that have RW on them, but not DVD+RW, so I guess they are also not rewritable either?

I am out 24 discs, so I have no time nor money to invest i those discs, either scanning, spinning, etc.
I have not enough friends to use them for beer coasters.
I am sh*t outta luck.

All my dvd+r have a prominent RW on the disc too, with dvd+r in small letters under the RW logo. This includes philips, imation, and arita. Never knew what this logo was for.

Sorry I was gonna ask hiptune.
If so that clearly says DVD+R along with the DVD Alliance's logo -
Yes indeed, that is the logo!!!!Originally Posted by tompika

It clearly says DVD+R not DVD+RW!Originally Posted by hiptune

Not sure if you are trying to rub it in my face or what, but at the store there were no ReWritables (as shown on left) to compare them to. So no, I did not see the difference. How could I have.Originally Posted by tompika
But thanks for all your help in confirming that I wrote 24 coasters, even if I knew it already.
