  1. Ok. I have read and read and read. I want to basically take some movies off my computer, burn them on a cd-r and then be able to play them on my stand alone dvd player.
Could someone just tell me the simplest way to do that. I guess I want the movies in VCD format? What program should I use to get them in that format. Also if the movie is too big for the cd-r what should I use to split it.
    Thanks for any help

  4. would it be easier to just buy a dvd player, that plays DIVX?
Or should I buy a DVD burner for my computer?
