    Hi, guys:
I have transferred this particular item from another thread, which had a limited interest, as it referred to ReelDVD.
I would like to explore an avenue of premastering a DVD on one software, but burning on another. I cannot make my ReelDVD work beyond the point of creating the disk image and the video files. And due to my limited knowledge of this stuff and little free time, I have to leave ReelDVD alone for now.
I already tried DVD Architect for burning from the video files created by ReelDVD and it seems to work fine.
Can I also use Roxio, Adaptec, NTI or some other CD/DVD writer software to burn in the "Data Mode" the disc image file (*.dvd), which was created by ReelDVD?
What is the structure of that file? Can it pass for a "Data File" when seen by Roxio, Adatec, NTI?
    Thx walter

DVD Decrypter will burn an ISO image. Freeware. Check at left.

Actually, I am getting a more powerful app. I think I can make a good use of it since I plan to hold on to my yet underperforming ReelDVD. But can as well try Decrypter, I had a look at the website, the author of that pckg certainly knows what he is doing. It is amazing how many bright guys scorn a full-time employment with big software development companies and do it on their own!
Incidentally, is "ISO image" the same thing as a "disc image" in ReelDVD terminology?
    Thx walter

I suspect ISO image and disc image are the same, but I'm not sure as I don't have ReelDVD. Burn to a DVD-RW to avoid a potential coaster.

No, I think I take a change on DVD-R, I do not have any RWs. From my CD-RW experience, RW versions are so much slower, that you simply cannot get an adequate data rate from them, which means frames keep freezing during playback.
Besides, considering how much I want to hold on to ReelDVD, even in an "underperforming version", I would have to find a way of making use of those disc files with a third-party software
    Thx walter
