DVD X Copy Vs. NERO Recode 2

Any opinions of which is better? Running NERO recode with AnyDVD appears to offer more options - more control.

Is the Video Quality of compressed video better for one over the other? Also, what about CloneDVD2 from Elby in comparison to NERO and SVS X Copy

Also, does NER support Dolby DTS? The DVD plugin looks like on DolbyDigital.

If you re looking to backup your dvd's why not just go with dvdshrink (freeware)... App has a good rep here.

DVD X copy does not not have a good rep, being unpredictable in backing up one dvd to the next - amoungst other issues.

Can't speak to nero recode - don't use it.

Isn't Recode 2 better than DVD shrink? From what I've read, they are dubing it as DVDShrink V4

The same person that wrote DVD Shrink worked on Recode 2.
