  1. i use virtualdub MPEG-2 with lame 3.95 codec and the options i have in the audio compression tab - is ONLY CBR and ABR
    how can i ENcode a video with MP3-VBR audio
    do i need another codec?
    do i need another sofware?[/img][/code]

  2. I think you'll have to use an external encoder (lame.exe) and then remux. Remuxing will be alot easier with VirtualDubMod.

    VDubMod has the functionality of VirtualDub MPEG2 if i'm not mistaken. You'll notice that the author of VDub MPEG2 announces on his site that the VDubMod team is welcome to use his mod.

    I've been using Lame v3.95.1, and had a few problems decoding with it, so i didn't try the Lame ACM (v3.95). Is it working alright for you?
