TMPG DVD Author Track Menu ARGH!!

So I am re-authoring several DVDs into one and it seems the best way to go from VOB to dvd to use TMPG Author.

That said, I don't seem to be able to NOT have track menus. I want a MAIN menu when you put the DVD in but NO track menus and all the built in templates seem to give me track menus whether I like it or not.

I am sure I am missing something obvious...can only tell me (step by step) how to work around this?

click on the menu options button at the top and you will see that you can display or not display the different menu types (root, track etc)

BTW if you do create chapters they will be available on the DVD, just no menu. Personally I dont like a whole page just for tracks, the track button on the remote is just as easy

If you want the movies to show up the main page with no track pages or chapter pages then set in menu display settingsnly main menu
first action play:display main menu
action to take after each track has played:display main menu
Also click edit menu theme and choose a layout with the number of movies you want to display on the main menu,dont worry about the track layout cause it wont show.Choose a new track for each movie you want on the main menu when you first import your clips.
