  1. Hi i just ripped some vobs using dvd decrypter, from a disc over 7 Gigs in size, my intention was to reencode using tmpgenc plus to compliant mpeg 2 files these after prosessing through dvd2avi using the d2v and wave method, after that load into pegasus dvd author chapter and burn to one disc, I've managed to do this with avi files getting 3 movies to one disc with quality im happy with..Great but not really, when Im encoding I'm getting lines being produced ( something like a Venetian Blind effect ,but mostly round the edges when ever there is movement in the frame) how do i fix this problem, its the first time i have tried using vobs in this way..so is it a ripping problem , a dvd2avi problem or tmpgenc problem. The ripped vobs are showing Interlaced in dvd2avi (tmpgenc is set accordingly) and play fine when loaded into powerdvd..any help much appreciated
Eh!.......don't know why it's doing that, it worked perfectly well on my system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. been reading some of the articles on interlaced files and how your pc monitor ( or encoder, not quiet sure) responds to them( shows the lines i was talking about ), with this in mind is it safe to encode them anyway so when played through standalone there fine.
