  1. I want to know if there is a way to take a home movie and encrypt it. (I know that some people have the knowledge to get around the encryption, but some don't.) I want people to have to ask me for a copy and not just make a copy of mine.

    Only supply it to someone who doesn't know how to make a back-up. That's the only way you can be sure not to have it copied.

    There is no way to encrypt a home video (without paying a fee to the CSS people and having you video commercially pressed).
