  1. I am hoping for suggestions. I have a divx film and TV-Out and I would like to be able to play it from cd. What is the best program and method for doing this? My second concern is this... Let's say a friend wanted to borrow my divx fim and didn't have TV-Out on his PC. Would I be able to transfer the divx I burned as stated above to vcd for them to use in a stand-alone player? I also think I will have to cut the divx in half because I think it's too big for 1 cd. So would I be able to Join the two halves of divx, change it to vcd, and play it in a stand-alone? Oh... one more thing... Does a stand-alone player result in better quality then a geforce3 ti200 with tv out? Thanks and sorry for the long post.

  2. 1 - windows media (7.1 / winME) player works fine for me with divx to tv-out, epecially if your tv has different modes you can set it to..

2 - if you wanted to cut the divx in half, i'd use virtualdub.

3 -and yes, it may be time consuming, but you would be able to join the divx back together and convert it to vcd, and then watch it on a standalone.

4 - it depends on the quality of the standalone player.
