will dvd x copy work on the iomega super dvd usb?

i just bought the iomega super dvd usb drive. i want to back up my dvd movies but have not been able to find a program that will work. granted, i have used the trial versions of many programs, but none have seemed to work. dvd x copy by 321 studios seems to be the type of program i want, but before i buy the registered version i want to know if it compatible with my drive.

The burn program would have to be compatible with your drive. Everything else that rips, edits, etc shouldn't make any difference- they just create the files that will be burned.

What programs have you tried that don't work? What came with the iomega?

i've tried just about every trial version on download.com. i only had minor success with one program. and the results were slim. i just want to know if anyone has been able to use dvd x copy or a similar program with the iomega (dvdrw4224e2q) super dvd, all format, 2.0usb drive?
