Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm getting ready to leave to Australia from the US for school for a year. I want to put multiple movies on a dvd for the 33 hour trip. I used DVD shrink to rip out every thing I didn't want (languages, subtitles, etc.), compressed it a couple of times and got the .vobs down to 1.3GB for each movie (American Pie Trilogy) with out any major picture loss. All three movies are just over 3.9GB. Can I put them on one disc (making a menu to choose which one, when put into a standard player). The size limit is below the 4.3GB of usable space on the disc, but its way over on the standard 2 hour time listing. Befor I waste a disc thought I would ask (I don't want to take 50 dvds with me if I don't have to, and yes I do one them).
Thanks Sir_Malaki

It can be done, yes. As for what kind of problems you'll have doing it, well, that's too much of a variable for me to care to wager on.

....33 hour trip....
As stated above bitrate determines the "run time" of the content on digital media - be it audio or video. (or even digital photos for that matter - lower bitrate = higher compression = more content on disk/CF card)

I'm going from Detroit (DET) to Los Angeles (LAX) to Sydney (SYD) to Melbourne (MEB), then an hour train ride to Ballarat.
The lay overs and three plane switches sucks but I'm a poor college student so I'm taking the cheapest route I can.
