Is it possible to burn (s)vcd files to cd with original screen size? Because if u burn it normally it resizes the video to fullscreen mode and quality of the video will get worse.

Could you give an example of what you mean? I'm not clear on that. Are you saying you have a movie that is widescreen and when you create an SVCD the picture is squished? If so this can easily be fixed. Well, maybe not easily because it involves re-encoding.

I mean that i have a music video sized about 40Mb. When i play it on computer the video is about 1/6 of the whole screen on 100% zoom. I would like to burn it to cd in that size so it's on tv a small box at the center of the screen and all around it will be black like in 16:9 movies when you watch it on 4:3 tv but the difference is that the black things are also on sides.

It's up to the player software how to display the video on screen. Most players either go full screen without user interface or show it in its original resolution with the players user interface visible. I guess you want no user interface, but video in its original resolution, the borders filled with black?

This is my problem..
I have an MPEG file I wish to put onto VCD. This file is in widescreen ratio 2.35:1. When I burn it onto a VCD using Ulead software it automatically makes it fullscreen by stretching it vertically. This is annoying
How can I get around this please? -
I don't know of a work around for Ulead but you can create the correct kind of file you want with TMPGEnc. Go to Settings>Advanced and change the video arrange method to "Full Screen(keep aspect ratio)". TMPGEnc is a better encoder anyway and if you're just making VCD mpegs(mpeg-1) it's free to use.

No you can't.
Only full D1 resolution is allowed to be 16:9 or anamorphic (2.35:1). VCD, SVCD, and 1/2 D1 can only be 4:3.
Now having said that, you settop player may correctly play them. Good luck burning them (Nero VCD/SVCD only as non-standard). Most Authoring applications won't let you use an incorrect format. To Be, Or, Not To Be, That, Is The Gazorgan Plan
