I used Virtualdub to capture a video clip that I want to burn to VCD. When I go to convert the .avi file to mpeg-1 the audio is lost, gone, copluie....hehe I've tried TMPGEnc and Nero's conversion utility. Neither of them seem to work, so I'm assuming it may be a setting I used while capturing that may be screwing this up for me..
Please, if anyone can help please do so. I've been at this for weeks, up and down forums and websites looking for the answer already made, but no such luck.
Thnx in advance, Greg

Not that I've done any capture stuff, but does the .avi playback have audio?
What settings did you use in TMPGEnc?
I understand the problem you're having, but you need to give a little more info as to what you actually did (tried).
