converting mov to dvd format

i recently downloaded a movie in mov format...works fine sound + picture.but when i use MAINCONCEPT MPEG ENCODER to convert to dvd or mepg 2 theirs no sound...just the movie.i've used this software many of times and never had this problem before.

can someone help??????????????

strip and convert the audio to wav using quicktime or some other app .

without knowing more about what kind of quicktime file it is and what codecs used - can't offer anythng else ..
