  1. I'm looking for help, since Ahead could'nt do it.

When I'm trying to rewrite a compilation on a rewritable media, after having erased the disk, Nero gives me the "burning ended unsuccessfully" message, and my disk is not playable in my stand-alone player.

Ahead says: Never use a rewritable more than once !!

    Thanks for any reaction.

It may be the brand you are using.

    Are Ahead bloody mad???

Is it DVD media yr using? Maybe give DVDInfo Pro a shot at erasing yr -RWs? I ve had great results with DVD-RWs which simply refused to be deleted in Nero.

    Good luck!

  5. Hello Guys,
Thank you for your prompt reactions.

The rewritables that I use are of the type DVD+RW, commercialized by Philips, but indicated by DVD-Info to be CMC Magnetics W01.

Is it possible that my problems are due to these particular disks?

Therefor I give hereafter the messages of the logs, created by Nero in case of a rewriting (I use the DVD-Video-option), after having erased the rewritable first (with Nero):

    " DVD-Video files reallocation started
" File 'Video_ts.vob' is not referenced and should not be present
    " DVD-Video files reallocation failed
    " DVD-Video files compiance ignored
    " DVD-Video files sorted
    ...
    " Burn process started at 2.4 x
    ...
    " INVALID BLOCK ADDRESS !!!
    " Burn process failed at 2.4 x.

    Thanks for any reaction.

  6. Actually, it sounds like the authoring process got messed up.

The message it telling you that there are too many files in the VIDEO_TS and they don't belong to anything. You might want to look there. It might not be a problem with the media.

If you want to see if it is the media, then try just burning data files on the RW disc. If it's the disc, then the bunr will fail there too.
