I've heard reports from other users with the same problems. Mine works fine, though I paid for the license. Maybe the problem lies in <cough>improper</cough> licenses for the software...

I also have never had a problem with it not showing audio.
It would be awesome if this is a result of people hacking this app with pirated codes

Not saying yours is pirated, but I would suggest tossing the app and its associated preference file, and resinstalling.
re-run the registration with your code and give her a go again.

DVDremaster is also an app that you have to buy so if your thinking you can just pirated codes to unlock forget it.

Ill be watching to see if your posts switch instantly to dvdremaster questions

OK, I've spoken to two other people who had the same problem, and they were both using illegitimate serial numbers. If you're having the same problems, you could try *gasp* buying the software...

  6. Alright, well I just bought DVD2oneX, and still did not solve the problem. Would there be something wrong possibly with the VIDEO_TS Folder? currently, Im burning a DVD that I had used in DVDRemaster (Demo), so I will see how that turns out, but that won't let me pick and choose stuff. Anyone have any suggestions? should i try and reinstall DVD Backup?

That's very strange. I wonder if they made an invisible file that got left behind somewhere. I would suggest contacting the dvd2one support email address, and let them know that you were using a pirated serial before (to try it out or whatever) and that now you bought it, and it's still not working (along with detailed problem description, DVD2OneX version #, and all your system spec and OS version info). Let us know what they say/do...

  8. yeah, i emailed them. Its really bothering me Right now, i feel left outta $65. But, i know that it will be better once I get it to work again. I know its not the VIDEO_TS folder cuz now i have used 2 different programs to rip. Yeah, and DVD2OneX is not letting me see anything.

Damn, $65?!? That must be due to the low dollar rate right now; I paid $55... I definitely understand your frustration, and don't know what to suggest beyond either waiting for a response or wiping your HD and reinstalling everything...

  10. yeah, i hate the dollar. Anyway, got it solved. EDITED FOR CONTENT AND WAREZ POLICY Weird. I think its cuz i haven't renamed my hard drive yet to one word (thats what galactica thinks the problem could've been), but it DID work before even. oh well.

I'm not sure if that problem was only for those with pirated serials. Maybe others had similar problems that might benefit from the fix of manually retyping the "/VIDEO_TS" part of the path to the VIDEO_TS folder after choosing one w/ the "..." button. Either way, it's a good tidbit of info for anyone having this problem, including those who paid for DVD2OneX, as Mech did, and still have the problem of not being able to select audio tracks and stuff.

    ok, i see your point
but lets put the point forward that this is to be tried if you have legitimage serial and still have audio selection problems

obviously, pirated software is not tollerated
