The 44khz audio - shown in your second screen shot - is not DVD compliant.

Now I know I captured all the video to DVD compliant MPEG2.

In Ulead software, the following conventions usually apply.

1. OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 (FIREWIRE) PCI cards capture Field A (lower field first) video;

2. Analog capture devices - generally - capture Field B (upper field first) video.

If I were using the capture device you mention, I would first try upper field first in my capture settings.

I would also adjust the audio capture settings to be 48khz and not 44khz.

Not at all.

I suspect the input file is problematic in some other way.

Check the documentation of your capture card for information about FIELDS.

Or you could check the ATI Web site's knowledge base.

are You saying that ulead will not let me make as many chapter points as i like if the video is upper field first?
