  5. In Ulead software, the following conventions usually apply.

    1. OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 (FIREWIRE) PCI cards capture Field A (lower field first) video;

    2. Analog capture devices - generally - capture Field B (upper field first) video.

    If I were using the capture device you mention, I would first try upper field first in my capture settings.

    I would also adjust the audio capture settings to be 48khz and not 44khz.

    I suspect the input file is problematic in some other way.

    Check the documentation of your capture card for information about FIELDS.

    Or you could check the ATI Web site's knowledge base.
