    It plays DVDs fine but when it comes to burned svcds it won't read it correctly. is there a firmware i need to get? or is it the way i burned (i burned usually around 24x)? or is it the cdr media? I don't think its the media b/c my friends norcent dvd player plays the svcds that I burned. Please help!?!?!?

    TRy different disks and try burning slower. If that doesn't help then try lowering the bitrate when you encode your mpeg.
