Hello,
I've read a lot of the great guides here, but I've just had one problem after another. What I'm trying to do is condense multiple VCDs to a multiple DVDs. SO basically each VCD contains about 40 minutes of video, and I'd like to combine ~8 VCDs to one DVD.
I've extracted the video via Isobuster, but after authoring with TMPGEnc DVD Author, my DVD player refuses to play because of region settings. I'm assuming that this is because of the PAL format of the original VCDs. If this is the wrong assumption please let me konw!
So at this point, it seems as though I need to convert the PAL mpegs to NTSC. Please advise if these are the proper steps to take to perform this:
1. De-multiplex PAL MPEG
2. Convert PAL MPEG to NTSC Film through TMPGEnc template
3. Convert PAL Audio to NTSC Audio through BeSweet
4. Author DVD
TMPGEnc DVD Author has also complained about the lack of video sequnce headers. It seems as though somewhere in there, I need to use TMPGEnc "Cut & Merge" to add these headers. But that particular tool doesn't seem to accept m1v files. Any advice on how to modify my steps to ensure that I've proeprly added the headers?
Thanks in advance!
