Is it really true about Philips going to provide DVD manufacturers firmware to record on double sided DVDs on Junhe???
I saw this on Neowin... Just checking...

You mean dual layered? A double sided DVD5 wouldn't need new firmware, just need to flip it over.
I know phillips was working on a dual layer burning system, but last I heard no one knew if it would be a firmware upgrade or if you would need to buy a new dual layered burner. Anyone have any good links to recent info? -
I mean like a DVD9 tow layers on one side... I heard this on Neowin...
I only know the basics of the recording of a DVD, don't know if a firmare upgrade is possible for recording in a DVD9 (two layers in one side)... Mayeb it is... Go to Neowin andd try to find this, it was posted like three/four days ago...
