  1. I recently converted a Divx 23.976 fps video to KDVD. I used pulldown.exe to do a pulldown to 29.97 fps. I observed that it causes jerkiness ONLY during panning (camera moves slowly from one direction to another). I think pulldown.exe is causing this and I want to know if there is an alternative program. I use the simple command line
    pulldown.exe XXX.mpv XXX.m2v
Maybe I should be using more parameters, if so what are they?

    Hi digicube,

I think that its safe to assume that instead of the pulldown.exe being to
blame here, I would rather blame the divX file, because this could just be
the result of someone else's poor encoding (or, poor choice of converting
to 23.976, as the source might not have ben w/in % reason ie, dvd2avi)

Your pulldown params were probably fine, just the divX source instead.
But, if the source is a low resolution ie, 352x240 (or had one of its fields
chopped off) this could also be the reason for your issue, cause 352x240
is not standard when trying to convert 23.976 to 29.970 w/ pulldown.
