I have some avi files captured using DVIO. VirtualDub gives me this message when I try to open the file:
"Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'dvsd' (unknown).... VirtualDub requires a VFW compatible codec to decompress video..."
When I open the file in "avicodec", here's what I see:
V. codec name A.1.codec name
Sony Digital Video PCM
Where do I get the codec (free preferebly)?
Patrick
P.S. I read the guide "How to identify a video source, what video and audio codec(s) it requires " but I still can't figure out how/where to get the codec.
