1st of all... this site ROCKS!!!
I started out with a 720mb avi file in letter-box format. when I try to burn it to dvd I couldn't because moviefactory3 said it was too big for the 4.3gig dvd. (it needed 6+ gigs)
so I converted the avi file to mpeg2. I preview the mpeg2 file in window media player & it looked fine(letter-box format). Then I use moviefactory3 to burn the mpeg2 file to dvd. About 2 hrs later it was done. but when I play the dvd, the picture was in standard US format(everything looked thinner & tall)??. My hitachi tv lets me play with aspect ratios but none of the settings would let me get the correct picture format, 16x9 was the closest.
Is this normal with moviefactory3? or is there something I've overlook?
thanks in advance 8)
