    Hello all

    Im having probs selecting my end file size ,when converting divx to dvd.
    My problem is when using the file size option in the wizard it will only
    allow me to encode to 2.5gig , im trying to encode to around 1 - 1.4gig, Im trying to put a couple of movies on a dvdr.
    any ideas ?

    any help would be much appreciated , thnx

    If it won't let you go below 2.5 GB then that's probably because you are trying to go below the minimum recommended bitrate for full DVD resolution. I suggest if you are getting below 2,000 Kbps that you use 1/2 DVD res (352x480/576) and use 2-pass VBR for best quality. That sort of bitrate is inadequate for full DVD high resolution and will look much better at a lower res. If you need help setting up TMPGEnc for that then just ask.
