Dell 2.1g, 1gig ram and ATI All-in-Wonder 9000. Everything was fine, until I installed the ATI. It works fine, but AVI's using the XviD codec are all green, no matter what player I use. All I get from ATI, are automated responses. I've tried installing the latest versions of the XviD, but no difference.
When I go to the control panel, and remove the CODEC's, and click OK, they are still there. I've tried removing them at the command line with regsvr32, tried booting to safe mode and removing them, but nothing works. I'm not sure about just removing files, as I'm not sure I'd know exactly what files to get rid of.
The AVI's files are fine, as they play on my other computers fine. (These are not files I have created.)
Any suggestions?
