    i was trying to burn boyz in the hood dvd rip which is in avi format. When i run TMPGEnc and goto convert it it says "An error occured when audio is decoded". This error comes up as soon as i hit "start" i dont know what to do but i love this movie

    Convert the audio to uncompressed wav and use it as audio source in tmpgen...read the problems section in the tmpgenc guide.

    Had the same problem. What you could do is use VirtualDub to do a direct copy of the video and audio stream and save it as AVI. I did this and it works for me.
