Does anyone know of a way to create a DVD that will automatically play randomly through the cells???
Thanks,

When authoring a DVD, it is obviously possible to map chapters (et al) to either A) other chapters, B) back to the menu, or C) make them loop indefinately..... well I am curious to find a means of adding "randomness" to the DVD itself. An example: I have 99 chapters (or cells) let's say ..... now I can obviously set certain DVD players to "shuffle", but can one actually design the DVD to play thru its chapters randomly???

I know in DVD Studio Pro on the Mac, you can create a script that will pick a random number and do something depending on what number was picked. Don't know if all authoring programs can do that, but it is somewhere to start looking.

I've used a good portion of these DVD programs and have not seen this.
You will probably have to look into the advanced features of something like Maestro or Scenarist to do that... those 2 programs are the least can'd that I've seen.
