  1. Hi
Is there any software for controlling the pitch of the audio song (not tempo) which supports various formats like wav, cda. mp3 etc. The closest I found is a plugin called pacemaker that goes along with winamp. But the problem is that it does not support cda format. Whenever I try to run a cda from cd rom it quits the program (illegal operation error). It does play mp3 well.

soundforge , wavelab , vegas , cooledit (audition now) , protools , goldwave , etc ....... all of these can do pitch changes

  4. I tried gold wave but the same thing. As soon as I inserted audio cd (.cda format), it came up with message you need a cd reader.
Also, I am lookinig for a freeware that is just like pacemaker...it can control pitch on the fly.
