I usually do backups of my DVDs using
1) DVD Decrypter
2) DVD Shrink (to fit it on one disc)
3) Instant Copy (Disc Image / Burn)
Now it's common that some DVDs are too big for one disc after compressing them with DVD Shrink, then I usually just leave audio tracks off and it fits onto one DVD5. With Pulp Fiction however, the file stays too big even after leaving off audio tracks, subtitles, etc.
Now I wanted to ask if there's some programme, that allows you to compress again, or if you know another method to fit the whole movie incl. menus onto one DVD-R. I know I could split it but I'd like to keep it on one DVD.
Thanks.![]()

theres no reason why u cant simply just run it through dvd shrink again!!!! just make sure you turn on the deep analysis feature, quality shouldnt suffer to much, also make sure in the 1pass u have the menus and 2ndary audio compressed as much as u can to save more room for the movie

I didn't care about the extras, so I tried removing them. However, there was one title that I could not convert to still pictures, and it wouldn't play in the preview screen. This was making me mad, so I decided to try CloneDVD. The movie compressed, but I kept getting errors while burning, probably because it couldn't compress that one title. Well, to make a long story short, I found out that AnyDVD was causing the problem. It wasn't decrypting the movie correctly. So instead I ripped the movie with DVDDecrypter (after rebooting and shutting down AnyDVD before putting the movie in) and ran it through DVD Shrink. Worked like a charm.
I would recommend trying some different decryption programs to see if you're having a similar problem. -
DVD2ONE should do it in 1 pass.
Dont know what the quality will be like though as i only use it for smaller (6 gig and below) dvds."Pull your tongue out of my ar$e hole Gary...dogs do that. Your not a dog are you Gary?"
"Err no...."
"But you do have all the characteristics of a dog Gary...all except loyalty."
