can i do .mp4 to anything else

i like the new nero , it convert a 4 gig dvdr into a 700 mb .mp4 file in 1.5hr great , problem is my apex and lite-on divx player cant read the file , and watchin it on the pc i kinda lame besides since i aint got that kinda video card, besides my tv is 4 rooms down...i just tried to use River Past Video Perspective, tested it on a 2mb .mp4 menu from the dvdr and it made the file fine but into a 15mb file...lol so then the moive would be like huge....


is there a program to convert .mp4 to xvid or divx around ? -TIA

Why not not just convert to Divx/Xvid in the first place if thats what you want to end up with?

with what program is good enough to give dvd like quality rip m8? i tried DVD-TO-AVI and that was not good at all

Use autogk or fairuse 0.3 or gordian knot.

i am installing the Gordian.Knot.Rip.Pack.0.28.7 is that the easy one to use?

what do i do at the end when it says to delete the default codex setttings?

i have vxid codex already installed so i can watch the samples in media player.
