  1. Hi there.

Well, what i need to do is to Re author a existing DVD, and insert a new audio stream.

The way i do it now is:

    1. I rip the DVD
    2. I encoded to divx avi with no sound
    3. I edit the audio (so it will sync with the ripped divx) in Adobe Premiere.
    4. When audio and video are correct i use TMPGEnc to make a MPG2 for a new dvd. Using the edited syncronized audio and my avi with no sound.

I think there must be a better way to edit my audios and add them to a video with out decoding to AVI and losing quality in the process.

Maybe a authoring tool where i can directly edit my new audio from a .VOB maybe?

    Any advices?
    Thanks

You know you can rip the video from a DVD in M2V format. Perhaps Premiere works with M2V ... I don't know ever used it.

If you still have to create an AVI to work with Premiere (or to have something to sync the audio too) then render the audio seperately and match it up with the M2V and just delete the AVI

Then import the M2V and your audio into your DVD authoring program.

    Tis a thought

    P.S.
BTW there is a version of VirtualDub that will allow you to import the M2V or even VOB files.
