I just bought (Feb. 2004) an Adaptec VideOH PCI (AVC-2000) capture card at Comp USA. It came with Sonic MyDVD 3.5 (the current vesion is 5.2) and Arcsoft Showbiz 1.2 (the current version is 2.0). MyDVD 3.5 will capture from it, but Showbiz crashes if I select to capture from this card. The latest version of NeroVision Express (2.1.0.8 ) can see the card, but merely trying to select it as a source causes NeroVision to crash. Nero support has confirmed that it is not compatible with this card. Windows Movie Maker 5.1 also crashes when I try to select the VideOH as a capture source.
Am I stuck with using MyDVD if I want to use this card?
Although Showbiz doesn't look like anything that I want to use, it blows my mind that Adaptec would supply software with the card which is not compatible with the card.

WINDVD creator 2 also works with the card. I found it's a little more stable then mydvd.
I my self I'm still looking to see if there are any other PVR programs that work with the PCI version. Besides WINDVR.
