  1. I downloaded the demo of Honestech Mpeg Encoder and it appears to be a good alternative to Tmpgenc...

However I can not frameserve to it using VirtualDub... When I open the VDdub file "marx.vdr" (converting my VHS Marx Bros movies to DVD) I get an error that this file type is unsupported by Honestech....

I also tried renaming the VDub frame handle with an avi extention, I get the same error.... I can open the unserved avi fine in Honestech...

Is there a way to frame with VirtualDub to Honestech as there are some VDub filters I use when I am frameserving to Tmpgenc....

Again I have no problem frameserving to Tmpgenc....

Also is there a way to change the video resolution in Honestech from full DVD (720x480) to 352x480 ? When I use the builtin Honestech template it defaults to full DVD and is greyed out... (will not allow me to change)....

  3. Thanks very much worked... But the resulting mpeg had audio only. The video was a black screen through out the entire mpeg...

Using Tmpgenc I was able to successfully from VDub frameserver and the mpeg had both video and audio....

    What could be wrong...
