  1. Hello,

I do not know if this possible but what I want to do is create a SVCD MPEG-2 and then burn it as SVCD file structure using DVD-R instead of CD Disc. The reason for this is CD holds very short movie i.e 40 minutes and hence have burn on multiple discs. Where as if I burn it on DVD-R it should fit the whole movie on one DVD-R.

    Thanks in advacnes.

You can't burn as svcd(cd mode2) on dvd media. You can burn the svcd structure(just the folder structure) as data only on a dvd media but it wont work on most dvd players.

Are you converting to svcd? if so just convert to dvd mpeg2 instead, you can use low resolutions(352x480/576) and low bitrates(~2000) similiar to svcd.

If you have svcds movies that you want to put on dvd read boss link.
