I've got a 30 minute DV piece that I've edited with Vegas and started serving to TMPGEnc for encoding to mpg2. For the second time, it'll crash at exactly the same spot at 61%. Vegas is giving me this error:

lol....I posted there and nobody seems to know what's going on.
1) Can't frameserve from Vegas to TMPGEnc without an exception
2) Can't frameserve from Vegas to MainConcept without an exception.
3) Reinstalled plugin pac for frameserver
That should rule out the encoder and frameserver as the problem...
I'm going to re-capture the DV footage and see if it doesn't fix the problem. At this point, the problem is either the DV footage or Vegas.
Anybody else? -
update to build 205 (4.0d) first
-------------------------------------------------------
then why dont you just use the built in encoder ?"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
or just render to an another new avi file ..... at this point it would take less time most likely

I always had problems trying to framserve from Vegas to TMPGenc Plus, even with plug n' pac. So I frameserve to VirtualDub and from there I framserve to TMPGEnc. Can be slow, and can cause audio delay if you seek trough the video while frameserving. If you have the hard drive space, just output the file from vegas a mjpeg or huufyuv, and load that into tmpgenc.

I have read a number of comments Re problems frameserving with plugin pac, particularly with longer encodes. Have you tried serving video only and saving the audio separately?
