    have been checking the forum for a way to convert SVCD to VCD. Unfortuantely I have a player that does not support playback of SVCD and I have an SVCD of Swordfish that I would like to play. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Frameserve the mpeg2 file to TMPGEnc and encode it as a VCD...

    Click on CONVERT, under the How to Convert to VCD you find a guide that it says "Support video format: SVCD..." click on that.
