  1. hi i want to set up my video and sound capture to the best i can with my computer . i have pentium celeron 433 a win tv go capture card a turtle beach montego II audio card. i use ulead media studio 6 to capture but i want o have the best sound possible. anyone know how to set it up properly to minimize the static noise i get. or any hints or a better capture program? anything . i usually capture through my vcr i have new rca cables i dont know what they are they have the gold connectore (pretty expensive) new coaxial cable for the vcr to the computer . any other ideas?

  2. using shielded cables(pc case is a buzz of interference) feeding straight into your soundcard with as few connections as possible is about the best you can do. disable/mute any recording inputs except the one you are using in the volume properties dialog. you could try setting the sample rate conversion quality to best(default is good) in control panel under multimedia/audio/recording/advanced properties, but i doubt this will be of benefit
