I have a video clip I downloaded from the net and am trying to convert it to VCD. But when trying to decompress the audio, there is a fatal error 92% into the clip. The same thing happened with AVI2VCD's decompress utility, and virtualdub. Any ideas how to get around this?

You may want to try DIVFIX, it may or may not work on this particular file. It s a freeware utility that repairs DIVX files.
