I've just started authoring DVDs, and I've already run into some problems. I've been following https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=179271&highlight=ifoedit+ vmesquita's guide to try to get subtitles on my movie. I've done the parts requiring ifoedit with no problem, i.e. created VOBs and .IFOs and added my SUPs. Then I imported my VOBs into DVD Lab. First question - Ifoedit produced five different VOBs, but the input file was only one movie (m2v+mp2). The VOBs each contain about 20 minutes of movies, so if you link them all up in the menu in DVD Lab there shouldn't be a problem, but I was just wondering why this happened. Then I create my menus and chapters, and go to compile my project. I have 7.5 gb free and it says that the output file will be 4.27 gb or something close to that. However, when I come back to my computer and the compiling is done, all I have is a couple of VOB files, with a sum total size of 1.00 gb. No .IFOs or anything like that, and less than a fourth of of the actual movie size! What could I be doing wrong?
