  1. I have a bunch of short MPEG movies. I am using Nero 6. Do I have to convert these MPEG files to VOB? Which setting do I use DVD-Rom ISO or DVD-Video? If I use DVD-Video, do I just put the MPEGs in the Video_TS file?

  2. Yes you must first convert to a DVD file and then you can burn with the DVD video option.

Use a program such as tmpgenc dvd author to make your mpg files into dvd burnable files, then you can burn them under the dvd-video mode in nero.

Its what i did when i first got here,

Check the guides section on the left and find a guide to follow

ie MPG to VOB guide, How to burn with nero guide etc...

then if you have a problem with a step it would be easier to help you
