  1. okay.
maybe i've never fully understood this app.

if i have an svcd movie in 2 parts and i want to merge them into 1 movie on a dvdr with chapters every 5 minutes, is there a way to set that up in authoring, or is it mandatory that i have 2 tracks on the dvdr if i have it as 2 bin/cue sets without re-authoring with a separate program...

    thanks in advance,

I'm just learning myself. I use TMPGEnc DVD Author. I just put both parts as a track (They play one after the other automatically. Two movies per DVD and two tracks per DVD). I believe you can chapter both parts of the track in TDA and make as many chapters as you want. Most SVCD's are in two parts. Only problem I have is a 5 second overlap between the two parts. I know I can trim it out, but does'nt bother me that much. I have a lot of SVCD's I want to convert.

All that is necessary is to place all parts (in proper order, of course) of each movie in the same VTS when authoring in SVCD2DVD. The next movie goes in the next VTS. They will play seamlessly.
