    I am wanting to make a backup of a DVD I already own, but want to reauthor and delete the extra trailers, etc to increase the space I can devote to video quality. I normally use TMPGEnc Author. is this the best way, and if so, how do i do it? if not the best way, what is? All replies much appreciated, thanks!

    If the source disk was originally burned by you, you can pull it back into TDA simply by using "add video" in Source Setup window. and then re-edit.

    If the source disk was, not then suggest using DvdShrink to rip/edit

    using DVD shrink, is there any way to keep the original menus that came on the DVD?
