I have ordered from AllMedia before, and while I've gotten my product in good time, the order has always been less than perfect. I would order the PRINCO 4x media 200 pieces count for $153 shipped, which I thought was a good price. When I got them, they were never in shrink wrap, and the spindles would always have many different serial numbers on the discs, not just one specific serial number per spindle. This tells me they were pieced together from different broken spindles. The disc themselves were never "clean", and would always have little flaws near the outer edges, but since most things I burn are less than 4 gigs this was generally not a problem.
Rima.com had a good price on PRINCO media last week, so with the shipping 200 pieces of 4x media came to about $156. They shipped the same day and I received them today. 8 packs of 25 piece spindles, all shrink wrapped and the discs are perfect. They will be getting my business from now on.

I shop a few other stores like allmedia, rima, and supermedia store. I prefer supermediastore and rima. Actually media wise, I got 100 pack dvdr 4x for $54 (allmedia has it for $57).

Well, I'll keep buying Taiyo Yuden like there's no tomorrow but I really haven't given thought to replacing my Optorite drives yet. I was considering the new Plextor drive but then I saw the new Sony drive at Wal-Mart and thought, "I like Sony."
